Job responsibilities:
Accountable for the profit and loss, work performance of the Asst. Managers and staff, complaints and conflicts within the restaurant
Follow the company and the Operations Manager’s instructions to ensure quality standards for both service and food in order to maintain the highest quality of food, beverage and services provided to the customers
Provide food and beverage training for all Floor staff
Work closely with the Operations Manager and Sales & Marketing Department on special events.
Delegate responsibility for the day-to-day operations to the appropriate personnel to ensure efficiency and profitability
Work closely with the kitchen and the front of house staff to ensure a smoother restaurant operation.
Conduct evaluations/appraisals with all front of house staff every 6 months.
Follow training schedules to ensure performance objectives are met and all staff members are certified and passed their training program for the position they hold.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-6 years of experience with proven track records in the food and beverage industry
Strong leadership, problem solving and decision making skills
Self-motivated, independent and able to perform multi-tasks under pressure
Good planning skill, organized with strong numerical sense and business acumen
Fluent in spoken and written English is a MUST, conversational Cantonese is a plus
Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Restaurant Manager
