Roles and Responsibilities:
The Chief Corporate Development Officer's main responsibilities include –
Report to CEO, CCDO will be responsible for corporate business development, corporate communications and marketing, public relations, building partnership locally and globally, attracting anchor tenants and building strong business and community relationship;
Provide deep insights into digital tech market trend, product and service demands, industry structure, players and stakeholders for the formulation of corporate development plan and strategy;
Recruit cluster and anchor tenants with a strategic account acquisition approach, working closely with the Partnership and Cluster Excellence teams on strategic tenant sourcing and identification;
Formulate and execute marketing plan to attain optimal leasing revenues of office, Smart Space and retail while balancing the needs for revenue generation, branding effect with big-name tenants and the development of the digital tech ecosystem based on clusters;
Develop and cultivate local and global network of business partners to accelerate the growth of the company and local digital entrepreneurs;
Organize corporate marketing programs and world-class signature events to nurture digital tech startups and to promote Cyberport as a local and international digital tech innovation hub;
Lead corporate communications in supporting the Chairman and C-levels in public relations activities and proactively seek media engagement opportunities to uplift public awareness on the public mission of Cyberport;
Develop integrated communications and community engagement programs to build an on-campus community covering the tenants and working population of Cyberport office as part of the Cyberport's digital tech ecosystem;
Broaden the revenue base of HKCMCL with new revenue sources like event sponsorship and advertising space sales.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in technology, business or related discipline. MBA or a Master degree in related discipline is preferable;
Minimum 10 years of experience as senior management;
Experience in business development, handle strategic partnerships and work with large enterprises Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas);
Strong media relationship, excellent interpersonal skills, good leadership and management with superb planning, organizing, execution and communications skills to manage internal and external stakeholders;
Meticulous and well-organized with strong planning capability;
High sense of urgency; excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Effective people management and excellent customer services skills;
Able to work under pressure in a sophisticated environment and deadline driven environment;
Fluent in written and spoken English, including writing business reports and proposals, and delivering same to Board or other bodies as required.
The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 3 years.
