US FMCG is seeking an experienced lawyer join their Asia operations as first in-house counsel for the region. Reporting to the headquarters in the US, the Regional Legal Counsel will be responsible for advising their fast growing business in Asia on all legal, risk and corporate governance matters. The successful candidate will help support the supply chain function, sales, marketing, IT, procurement, technology, digital, commercial and data privacy related issues.

Our client is seeking a 7+ year pqe lawyer with solid International law firm training and ideally some in-house experience. Strong commercial contracts experience is vital, some exposure to luxury consumer brands would be highly favoured. Strong legal drafting and documentation experience is important, as is the ability to manage stakeholders within the organisation both in Asia and globally. Strong communication and presentation skills and fluent Mandarin is vital.
