Sift – Pastry Chef/ Chef

Today, Sift desserts has eight shops in Hong Kong. Some of Sift’s signature offerings, the Sift Chocolate Cake, the Red Velvet and the Salty Caramel Chocolate cupcakes remain immensely popular and our central kitchen on average churns out thousands of items a day.
To cope with the business expansion of I.T, high calibre candidates are invited to fill the following position:-
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pastry day -to-day production according to specification, requirements and customers’ recipes
- Order ingredients
- Conduct food checks, review event orders and handle pastry preparation
- Reorganize refrigerators and entire section, fill up stocks items up to par to work on all necessary arrangement for upcoming pastry preparation
- Inspect the kitchen equipment are in function and call suppliers for repair work in any situation;
Requirements
- With 2 - 4 years of related pastry working experience
- Creative and quality-oriented team player, work hard, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in leading subordinates is an advantage
- Well-versed in kitchen hygiene, creative and service-oriented
- Work independently
Working time: 9 hours per shift
