RESPONSIBILITIES
⚫ Be responsible for the inspection of all new, renovation and maintenance works in accordance with the tender specifications, quotations and Building Regulations
⚫ Liaise with Contractors, Architects and Consultants regarding projects undertaken by the Army
⚫ Perform day-to-day building management and inspection services, and oversee property maintenance, security and cleaning services
⚫ Be responsible for the property management of Command Headquarters, Divisional Headquarters, Corps and quarters, and the supervision of the Building Attendants, Office Cleaners and Technicians
⚫ Forecast short term to long term planned maintenance programmes for up-keeping the building conditions and building services of responsible premises
⚫ Be the focal point in case of emergency
⚫ Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the supervisor or management
REQUIREMENTS
⚫ An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
⚫ Higher Diploma or Degree in Property Management / Building Services / Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
⚫ Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience in construction, property management or related field with at least 2 years in supervisory level
⚫ Good problem-solving, communication and leadership skills
⚫ Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure
⚫ Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
⚫ Be computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing
