Our client is an international asset management firm with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre candidate to join them.

Provides support in responding to business inquiries on compliance matters covering different Asian markets. Keeps abreast of regulatory legislative changes in the region, determines impact on the business unit, recommends and assists in the implementation of regulatory requirements. Creates and implements appropriate regulatory policies and procedures. Works closely with global colleagues to align with best practices and regional/global standards. Handles licensing matters and various regulatory notifications to meet regulatory filings timelines and reporting requirements. Contributes to the development and maintenance of robust Compliance programme, collaborating with stakeholders and educating them to maintain effective regulatory control and framework. Provides Compliance advice to business when screening new investments for compliance with  Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) requirements. Provides compliance comments on the drafting of legal agreements and client service agreements.  Supports compliance reporting and related management information for senior management and applicable functional teams. Assists in ad hoc compliance business projects as directed from time to time. Conducts compliance training meetings and makes presentations. 

To be considered, you should be a degree holder in with a minimum of 3 years experience in compliance, audit or financial regulator. Good foundation of securities laws, rules and regulations Knowledge of investment industry and international financial markets. Knowledge of Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission Codes, insurance regulations and AMLCTF guidelines/laws.. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
