| Position Requirement: |
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure smooth, accurate and timely closure of Hong Kong accounts during the month end closing.
Prepare accurate and timely accounting and financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and yearly reports etc.
Assist with management reporting.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP in financial reporting
Ensure compliance with local regulations and Hong Kong financial reporting standards
Manage balance sheet and ensure the effectiveness and compliance to internal control system for Hong Kong
Manage AP related matters, including payment term control, post-date check handling etc.
Manage AR related matters, including credit control, overdue account handling and management of 3rd Party issues, etc
Manage GL related matters, including month end journal preparation and entries
Liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years experience in accounting, auditing, and internal control
Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
EXPERIENCE Work experience with trading company will be advantageous
Solid accounting & internal control skills & tax knowledge
Familiar with Hong Kong GAAP and US GAAP. SOX experience will be an added advantage.
Strong Excel skills as well as related software like Word, PowerPoint
Experience in SAP B1 /Oracle /‘Hyperion’ would be a plus
Mature with good communication skill
