| Position Requirement: |
Duties:
- Lead a small team to manage daily accounting operation and
financial reporting on the
responsible units at the Army
- Be responsible
for month-end closing and consolidation
- Drive budget process and monitor
results
- Prepare monthly management accounts and analysis report
-
Monitor project spending and provide variance analysis
- Cash flow projection
and cash management
- Prepare financial statement, audit report, audit
schedules and profit tax filing
- Involve in system implementation and
automate report generation process
- Streamline and implement accounting best
practices
- Enhance good working relationship with business unit team and
give constructive advice to unit-in-charge in Hong Kong and Macau
- Perform
any other legitimate duties assigned by the supervisor and
management
Requirements:
- Understanding of the Christian faith,
values and ethos of The Salvation Army
- Degree in Accounting or Finance or
related disciplines
- Qualified Accountant
- Minimum 7 years of relevant
experience
- Experience in audit, shared service, FMCG or NGO is an
advantage
- High proficiency in accounting systems, e.g. Oracle Financial
System and MS Excel
- Good analytical and report writing skills
- Good
interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure to meet
tight schedule
- Good Command of English and Chinese (written and verbal),
knowledge of Putonghua
is an advantage
