RESPONSIBILITIES
⚫ Responsible for developing system applications for service development by making use of social innovation and technology
⚫ Assist in collecting and analysing user requirements, provide necessary technical advice
and identify potential risks
⚫ Participate in project life cycle, including project initiation, planning, procurement,
implementation, monitoring, risk assessment and management, UAT, closure, etc.
⚫ Assist in overseeing information system projects to ensure that the projects are completed within the approved budget, time frame, quality standard as well as fulfilling
the requirements
⚫ Perform product or system evaluation, test and provide technical recommendations
⚫ Prepare and maintain operation manuals, user guidelines and other system documents
⚫ Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the Supervisor or management
REQUIREMENTS
⚫ An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
⚫ Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines
⚫ Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in application development of web/mobile/VR/AR/robotics applications, preferably in social welfare sector
⚫ Familiar with software and mobile development life cycle and IT documentation
⚫ Knowledge in development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON,
Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, Java, .Net and SQL
⚫ Experience in cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Firebase will be an advantage
⚫ Keep abreast of the changes in business environment, technology and industry standards
⚫ Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
⚫ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
⚫ Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
⚫ Immediate available is preferable |
