Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd., (hereafter as “Taikang Asset (HK) or “the Company”), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Taikang Asset Management Co., Ltd. (hereafter as “Taikang AMC”) was incorporated in Hong Kong in 2007, now holding SFC licenses Type 1 (Dealing in Securities), Type 4 (Advising on Securities), and Type 9 (Asset Management) regulated activities, and with QFII and RQFII qualifications.

Founded in 2006 Taikang AMC is owned by the Taikang Insurance Group which was founded in 1996.  Taikang Insurance Group is listed in Fortune 500 and is currently one of the China’s largest insurance and financial services institutions based in Beijing, operating in three main business sectors: insurance, asset management, and health and elderly care.

Job Responsibilities 

• Report to the Head of Risk Management
• Produce risk & performance reports to clients and support business needs
• Produce risk & performance reports to Portfolio Managers and support investment risk analysis work
• Maintain and support the Company risk systems
• Support the Department Head for the risk analysis and monitoring for the Company
• Participate in risk management related projects
• Assist the Department Head  for administrative duties if required
• Work closely with Front Office (Portfolio Managers and Products & Marketing)

Job Requirements

• Master Degree or above holder in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or Applied Quantitative Science.  FRM is a definite plus
• 2-5 years relevant working experiences (candidates working in IT but are enthusiastic to explore in risk area are also welcomed)
• Good knowledge in financial market instruments, especially equities and bonds Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A quick and enthusiastic learner who can work independently
• A passionate team player who can work under time pressure
• Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel, knowledge in VBA is a definite plus) and sufficient knowledge in Bloomberg
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua & Cantonese)
