Description:

Office Location: Hong Kong Science Park/ Cyberport
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development of robots/automation machines in robotic arm application
- Fine-tuning and providing technical supports for experimental set-ups and field trials
- Designing the control system and motor control of custom-made robots or automation systems
- Applicants with less working experience may be considered and offering other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position. Expected salary and availability are suggested to state and considered in the application.
The appointee has the knowledge/experience of some of the following areas will be an advantage:
- Robotics and AGVs - Methodology and Architect
- ROS and OpenCV, path planning and optimization
- MCU and DSP programming for motion control and sensor implementation
- New sensor/actuator design & implementation
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology with relevant industry experience
- Proficient in C/C++ programming language, familiar with other programming languages (Python/C#) is a plus
- Hands-on experiences in embedded application development using Linux Operating System such as Raspberry pi / Jetson Nano or other SBCs
- Good knowledge with wired (UART, I2C, RS485, CAN) and unwired (TCP/HTTP/RTSP) communication
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, technical and organizational skills
- Proactive, take initiatives and challenge the status quo
